Taleo in the cloud with Australian appointment

Taleo Australia has appointed a new senior engineer with responsibility for building out the company’s suite of products for its recently announced cloud computing ‘talent grid’ initiative.

Taleo announced the appointment of Simon Raik-Allen to the role at the company following his move from digital services support company Hyro where he was regional technical manager. Prior to that Raik-Allen spent six years in the US as architect at JasperSoft, a commercial open source reporting company.

Raik-Allen has 12 years experience in internet-based software engineering, a good deal of that time based in California working with Silicon Valley start-ups, with some of his time working remotely from Australia.
