Satellite datacasting provider, Multiemedia's (ASX:MUL) satellite division, NewSat, today announced the appointment of former IPSTAR executive Mark Morgan as its new general manager for Asia Pacific. Morgan has over 20 years experience in the satellite communications industry. He began his career with Telstra's satellite division and has worked with leading satellite communications companies such as Stratos Global and Thai-owned IPSTAR. While at Stratos, he established the company's presence in Australia and was actively involved in the re-launch of the Iridium Low Earth Orbit System into the Australian market. Before joining NewSat, Morgan's last role was as senior business development manager for IPSTAR
