IronPort appoints new territory manager

Cisco-owned anti-malware provider IronPort Systems has appointed Luke Healey to the role of territory manager, NSW. The company is pointing to newly created role at IronPort’s office within Cisco’s North Sydney head office for Australia and New Zealand as evidence that the company is expanding its operations in the region.

Cisco acquired Ironport in January 2007 for a reported US$830 million.

Healey comes to IronPort with a strong background in the IT security sector where he spent the previous two years at IBM Internet Security Systems.  Prior to this, he was working for networking specialist, Cisco for five years, responsible for Cisco’s Public Sector business in the UK.

He holds a Bachelor of Technology, Business and Finance from Brooklands Technical College in the UK.
