ISYS' search for a new CEO locates Coles

ISYS Search Software has appointed Scott Coles as its chief executive officer.

"We welcome Scott's leadership and experience in guiding global technology businesses through high-growth initiatives," said ISYS founder and chairman Ian Davis.

"His insight and direction will be key in establishing ISYS as the premier supplier of information access, discovery and embedded search solutions."

Coles previously held senior executive roles with companies such as EDS, Lucent Technologies and Avaya, and in the mid-1990s was the driving force behind the establishment and success of AT&T Bell Labs in Australia.

"I've had the great privilege of working with some of the world's foremost technology organizations, where I had the opportunity to lead sales growth strategies, operational efficiency, and aggressive product development and innovation," said Coles.

"As someone who has watched ISYS evolve over the years, I have a tremendous passion for the company's technology and its approach to solving today's pressing information access and management challenges."
