HP's recently acquired global IT services company EDS has appointed David Caspari as its new head of operations in Australia and New Zealand.
Mr Caspari, a graduate of Harvard Business
School, will assume the title of vice president, EDS ANZ, overseeing
growth in core business areas of infrastructure services, business
process outsourcing and applications solutions.
Mr Caspari will assume his role at EDS on November 1, 2008, leaving his
position as vice president for sales in HP’s Technology Solutions Group
(Asia-Pacific and Japan) after two years.
“The appointment crowns an already stellar sales and leadership record
that has seen David drive the strategic growth of companies such as HP
and Cisco throughout the region,” said
Michael Coomer, senior vice president, Asia-Pacific and Japan.
“David joins us at a crucial time of realignment and integration of HP
and EDS, and I am confident his experience will be of great benefit in
keeping the company focused on growth.”
Acting managing director, Neil Emerson, will return to his primary role
