SAP Australia New Zealand has Ian Black as Chief Operating Officer, SAP Australia New Zealand, reporting to Tim Ebbeck, President & CEO SAP Australia New Zealand. Mr Black was previously Managing Director SAP New Zealand.
Mr Black begins the transition role immediately
during Q4 and assumes the role permanently from January 1 2009,
replacing Therese McGrath. He will continue to be involved in the New
Zealand market, assuming the role of Chairman of SAP New Zealand.
“Ian has been in the role of managing director of SAP New Zealand for
five years and has led the New Zealand business through a period of
great growth,” says Tim Ebbeck.
“Importantly, Ian has been a very significant participant in the growth in the broader ANZ business over the same period.”
Mr Black has previously held roles with SAP in Australia and in Asia
Pacific including both regional and country leadership roles. Earlier
this year, he assumed the role of VP SME for ANZ where he spearheaded
SAP’s SME business. He will relocate to Sydney in early 2009 and will
be replaced by Graeme Riley, who joins SAP from Infor where he was VP
Asia Pacific based out of Hong Kong.
