IT services and outsourcing firm, Brennan IT and its telecommunications company, SecureTelecom, have appointed Geoffrey Dirago as general manager, client relationships, in a move that indicates a convergence customer outlook.
The newly created role will see Dirago take overall responsibility for relationship development and management of both Brennan IT and SecureTelecom's clients, as well as establish an account management regime for the two businesses.
'The appointment of Geoffrey means that we now have the management team in place to lead the businesses into their next phase of growth,' said David Stevens, managing director of Brennan IT and SecureTelecom. 'The past year we've focused on expanding the business nationally and developing our sales capability. This has seen Brennan IT and SecureTelecom achieve an annual growth rate of 32% and 44% respectively. Moving forward our focus will be on aligning the two businesses more closely so we can position ourselves as a single partner of choice for business telecommunications, IT services and outsourcing,' said Stevens.
Stevens said account management would play an increasingly important role for the businesses.
'We have found that mid-sized businesses have an emotional attachment to their IT infrastructure and systems, so trust is key to building long-term customer relationships in the IT services market. Now with Geoffrey on board, we can drive our service to a whole new level and foster a long-term partnership with our customers based on trust.'
Dirago previously spent four years at OracleDirect Consulting, responsible for Australian and New Zealand territories. He has also worked for Oracle Corporation and P&O Cruises in customer service and sales focussed roles.
Think again. Most businesses only have PART of a DR plan - and this spells business disaster in the event of an IT disaster.
