Telstra owned IT services company, KAZ, has announced the appointment of financial services industry specialist Tony Gold as the company's new CIO.
As CIO, Gold's charter is to manage all IT functions within KAZ Business Services, in particular its superannuation administration business, AAS (Australian Administration Services).
Gold comes from a financial services industry background, which includes multi-sector superannuation, consulting and IT experience including previous leadership roles with Superpartners and Financial Synergy.
Stuart Korchinski, managing director, KAZ Business Services said: 'Tony brings to our business a great mix of technology strategy and operational experience in running big IT projects, that will ensure our clients are part of the process.
'The recruitment of Tony will ensure AAS further extends its mantle as a leader in technology in the superannuation marketplace.
'We believe Tony's appointment further deepens our talent pool and, together with our commitment to quality, compliance and customer focus, enables us to provide world class services to our clients.'
