Mobile operators get fixed price spectrum renewal in $3b Government windfall

The Government has offered Australia's three mobile operators, and vividwireless, renewal of their existing spectrum allocated on 15 year licences in the late 90s and early 2000s at set prices, while the Government expects to rake in $3 billion.

Quark has appointed Alex Nemeth as regional business director, Australia and New Zealand.

He most recently led identity and access management sales in NSW for CA, and previously worked for British Telecom Global Services and Zento.

Nemeth holds a masters degree in science and communication from the University of London.

"I'm excited about the opportunities our extended line of products provides us, our partners, and most importantly, our customers," he said.

"I will be working very closely with them to understand their business so that we can position ourselves to provide the highest levels of service and support."
