Telstra adds one million mobile services, but Sensis plummets

Telstra has revealed the addition of almost one million new mobile services in the six months to December 2011, but Sensis revenues plummeted 24 percent in 12 months.

Mobile messaging services outfit Sybase 365 has appointed Adam Brito as business development director for peer-to-peer messaging interoperability in Australia and New Zealand.

Brito was most recently a senior associate in Westpac Corporate Banking's global transactional banking division.

He previously worked for UK-based software and services provider 1E, and held various sales roles at Telstra.

"Drawing on seven years experience in the telecommunications industry, Adam will expand our market leadership in peer-to-peer messaging within the region," said Jo Rich, regional director for Australia and New Zealand.
