Fab four for Sony marketing

Sony Australia has made multiple appointments to its consumer marketing division.

Katsuya Watanabe is the new marketing manager for digital imaging, replacing Yasunari Nishioka who will be moving to a role with Sony Ericsson in Sweden.

Watanabe previously worked for Sony in Japan in the Alpha digital SLR marketing division.

Kentaro Tanigaki joins Sony Australia as marketing manager for the VAIO / personal audio group. He has been working within the VAIO business for ten years and recently spent three years in Sony India.

Graham Keogh is the new marketing manager of the recording media and energy division. He was previously senior product manager for visual displays.

"It is important to us to put a team in place that will strengthen our market position, while also delivering the best possible products, technologies and profitability to our partners," said Koichi Suzuki, general manager, consumer AV-IT marketing.

"I have full confidence in the combination of expertise and passion that all three of these appointments will bring to the Sony Australia team."

Keogh's replacement as senior product manager for visual displays is Jan Ergen, who previously worked in product management at Panasonic.
