Gartner duo gain promotions

Analyst firm Gartner has made two senior appointments from within its own sales ranks.

president for sales in Asia Pacific. He was previously regional vice president for sales for Australia and New Zealand.

Nick Smith, previously region manager for field sales in Australia and New Zealand, has been appointed regional vice president for sales in Australia and New Zealand.

Anderson has held a variety of roles since joining Gartner in 1999. He previously worked for Fujitsu Australia, CBE Technology, and IPC.

Smith managed major account sales at Gartner before being promoted to regional vice president. He previously worked at various organisations in the UK, Europe and North America. He holds an MBA from the University o Melbourne.
