Shaw takes watch at WatchGuard

Security vendor WatchGuard Technologies has appointed Byron Shaw as territory sales manager for its southern region.

"Byron's knowledge and experience in dealing with large corporate businesses and the channel throughout the southern region of Australia will benefit WatchGuard's ongoing business pipeline and market development," said Scott Robertson, regional director for Australia and New Zealand.

Shaw was previously with Symantec in the role of consulting sales manger – southern region. He has also worked as a business development manager at Fujitsu Australia, ComputerCORP, and in the biometric security industry.
