Storage software vendor Acronis has appointed Simon Bills as its national distribution manager for Australia and New Zealand.

"Simon brings extensive industry knowledge and experience in the channel market, further increasing Acronis’ awareness among channel partners and distributors to drive the business growth of Acronis in Australia and New Zealand." said Bill Taylor-Mountford, general manager of Acronis ANZ.

Prior to joining Acronis, Bills spent 11 years at Quantum, where he held various positions in channel sales, including time as the country manager for the UK, Ireland and Australia, and most recently managed enterprise partners in the ACT, NSW and Queensland.
