Telstra adds one million mobile services, but Sensis plummets

Peter Falshaw leaves Ovum for Analysys

Well known telecoms industry consultant, Peter Falshaw, formerly director of consulting for Ovum's Asia Pacific operation based in Sydney, has left to head up the new regional office of rival research firm Analysys in Singapore. Analysys said hew would be responsible for expanding its business across the region into China, Korea, and Japan in the North; India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in the West; and Australia and New Zealand in the South.

He will be on the lookout for more staff. Analysys said: "He will recruit and manage a team of consultants focused on the Asian telecoms market, offering a range of consultancy services including commercial and technical due diligence, business strategy development for convergent services, economic cost modelling, spectrum management and development of regulatory policy."
