Cheung channels for Intel

Intel Australia has promoted Garry Cheung to the position of channel account manager for Victoria, South Australia and New Zealand.

"Garry's background in the IT industry and within Intel places him in the ideal position to support our resellers and customers in the channel account manager role," said Thomas Tapsas, national sales manager, reseller channel organisation, Intel Australia.

Cheung previously managed the Australian portion of Intel's global IT network and infrastructure requirements.

Prior to joining the company, he worked for the NSW Attorney General's department, UBS Walburg Investment Bank, and OzEmail.

Cheung is currently completing a Bachelor of Computer Science degree at the University of New England, and holds a Diploma of Information Technology Business Systems/Software Development from Spherion Education and the A+ Core Hardware and Operating Systems Certificate.
