Sybase 365 has announced a trio of executive appointments.

Matthew Talbot (previously vice president, Asia-Pacific) has taken on the role of vice president, mCommerce - a new business unit focussing on mobile banking and mobile payments.

"Sybase 365 has an early foot-hold in this market and will become a major enabler of the mCommerce future, as a trusted partner for financial institutions, mobile operators and merchants," he predicted.

Howard Stevens (previously vice president, EMEA) has been promoted to senior vice president, international operations, a position that combines his EMEA responsibilities with those for Asia-Pacific.

Gregory Dunn, vice president, Americas, has taken on responsibility for the company's mobile advertising business.
