Ramsay streets ahead at Opengear

Out-of-band management provider Opengear has appointed Leanne Ramsay as vice president of sales for Asia Pacific. She will be based in Sydney.

"We are delighted to welcome Leanne to Opengear where her knowledge of infrastructure solutions in emerging and high-growth sectors such as the telco market will be integral to making the right business decisions that help the company meet its growth objectives," said CEO Bob Waldie. 
 
Ramsay was most recently Avocent's managing director for Australia and New Zealand. Her 26 year career in the IT industry includes management roles at Allied Technologies Group and Clarent Corporation, plus business development and account management positions at Eclipse Communications, Fujitsu Australia, Scitec Communications, LAN Systems and CASE Communications, among others.
