Fisher angles regional role at Sybase

Sybase has appointed Stuart Fisher as director of channel sales and alliances for the Asia Pacific region.
"The appointment of Stuart Fisher to this important position provides a leader for the company's new initiative to expand support to our network of partners across the region," said Barrie Sheers, senior vice president and general manager, Asia Pacific.

Fisher will be based in Singapore. His 15-year IT career includes five years at SAP.

He holds an MBA from Sydney's Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
