The Wikimedia Foundation has appointed Veronique Kessler as its new chief financial and operating officer.
Kessler was most recently director of finance at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco. She previously held various finance-related positions at Stanford University, Charles Schwab, Berkeley International Capital Corporation, Walden International Investment Group, The Fremont Group, Wells Fargo Bank, Deloitte & Touche.

She is a Certified Public Accountant had holds a BA in Economics from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
