Hyde says 'so long' to SAP

IT People - People

Alan Hyde, has resigned his role as CEO and managing director of SAP Australia and New Zealand.

As is customary, the reason for Hyde's departure was left vague: he "will be pursuing an alternative course in his career," according to regional president and CEO Geraldine McBride.

However, McBride did say she regretted Hyde's resignation, and sincerely thanked him for his valued contributions to the company over the last five years.

Tim Ebbeck, Australia-based regional senior vice president and chief commercial officer, will keep the ANZ chief's chair warm on an acting basis.

"I welcome Tim to his new role and I am confident that he will again provide strong leadership and commercial success, as we work together driving the ANZ markets forward," said McBride.
