Microsoft's McGrath becomes SAP's COO

SAP has appointed Therese McGrath as chief operating officer for its Australia and New Zealand business.

"SAP has an aggressive growth plan and a unique product portfolio that presents a whole range of new opportunities in the years ahead, particularly in the small and midsize enterprise segment," said McGrath.

McGrath most recently worked for Microsoft in Singapore, where she was business development and operations director for the Small and Medium Business and Partner Group in Asia Pacific. She was director in Microsoft’s Small Business Division for ANZ.

She previously worked for Thomson Group, Diageo and Avis.
