GlobalConnect grabs Sameer as services supremo

GlobalConnect Australia has appointed Sameer Chhatre as its services manager.

"We are delighted that Sameer has joined GlobalConnect at this time.  His knowledge of convergence in emerging and high-growth sectors will be integral to making the right decisions that help our customers meet their business objectives," said managing director Pushkar Taneja.

Chhatre was previously implementation manager at Telstra Business Systems, and has also worked for Touchbase, Servion and Tata Telecom.
 
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from Mumbai University and is an Avaya Certified Expert in IP Telephony.
