Borrett joins antivirus distributor

AVG (AU/NZ) has appointed Lloyd Borrett as its marketing manger.

"We're delighted to have secured Lloyd for this important role and look forward to him making a significant contribution to AVG's continued growth within our Australian, New Zealand and South Pacific marketplace," said managing director Peter Cameron.

Borrett's three-decade career includes management positions with ITR Group, Monash.NET, Oakton, Expert Software Services, Protech Australia, MicroHelp and HiSoft.

"He comes very highly recommended by his former employers," added Cameron.

AVG (AU/NZ) was recently formed by Avalanche Technology Group in order to separate its AVG business from the rest of its software distribution operations.
