Telstra adds one million mobile services, but Sensis plummets

Telstra has revealed the addition of almost one million new mobile services in the six months to December 2011, but Sensis revenues plummeted 24 percent in 12 months.

Hosting provider BlueCentral (formerly Destra Hosting)has appointed Jason Barker as sales director.

"Jason has outstanding experience in various sales roles across the IT industry locally and internationally.  In these roles, he has demonstrated that he is driven, passionate and has strong leadership skills," said MD Anthony Banek. "I am confident that Jason is the person to take on this challenge."

Barker was most recently sales manager at mobile email company Seven Networks. He has also worked as sales and as marketing manager for Visto, account manager at Global Crossing.
