Brown crosses Pacific for PGP

IT People - People

Encryption specialist PGP has appointed Jamie Brown as its Melbourne-based regional manager for Asia-Pacific.

"Jamie's global expertise in data encryption and security will be a valuable asset in delivering value to our customers and partners in the region," said president and CEO Phillip Dunkelberger.

"My role is to ensure that the company continues to gain momentum in the Asia-Pacific enterprise data protection marketplace," said Brown.

"The fact that PGP Corporation has chosen to set up a local division is timely, given the Australian government’s decision to introduce mandatory data protection laws in 2008."

Brown was previously the director of sales for California-based Cavium Networks.
