Gill goes to Cognos

Cognos has appointed Sharon Gill as senior account manager for the northern region of Australia.

Based in Brisbane, Gill's focus will be Queensland's private sector.

She has more than 20 years of IT solutions sales experience, including management roles at Hermes Precisa Australia, Security Mailing Services, and QM Technologies.

"[Gill's] appointment is well timed to capitalise on the current boom in corporate sector growth across South-East Queensland, and will go a long way to ensuring that our performance goals and market objectives for the region are met," said Lesley French, vice president for Cognos in Australian and New Zealand. 

Gill holds a BA in Asian and International Studies from Griffith University.
