NetApp's Morris joins SNIA ANZ board

Scott Morris, director of partner and public sector sales for NetApp ANZ has been appointed to the SNIA ANZ board of directors.

"The appointment of Scott Morris strengthens our Board and reinforces our commitment to the broadest possible representation of the storage community," said SNIA ANZ chair Jacob Van der Eyk.

"In Scott we have someone who will influence our thinking to reflect the needs of the channel community, who in most cases are the direct interface to the end user."

Peter O'Connor, managing director of NetApp ANZ, said "Scott is an excellent candidate for the SNIA board, due to his extensive experience and outstanding results working with the IT channel - a key area on which SNIA is focused for growth. With an immediate focus on improving SNIA's membership proposition, Scott's exemplary performance in the last three years with NetApp will be a strong foundation from which to begin this board position."
