NCR announces Teradata board

NCR has announced the expected board of directors for Teradata when it is 'strategically separated' from the rest of the business.

NCR chairman James Ringler will be the Teradata chair. He will be joined by NCR directors William Stavropoulos, Victor Lund, C.K. Prahalad, and Pete Boykin.

Mike Koehler, Teradata division head and CEO-designate of the new company, will also sit on the board.

"While Bill Stavropoulos, Vic Lund and I will be leaving the NCR board, C.K. Prahalad and Pete Boykin will continue to serve on NCR's board in addition to joining the Teradata board. Additional NCR and Teradata directors are expected to be appointed in the future to address the specific needs of each company," said Ringler.

Robert Young, currently chief financial officer of the Teradata Division of NCR, has been named interim chief financial officer for Teradata Corporation.
