Murphy joins Vignette as sales VP

Vignette has appointed Peter Murphy as regional vice president sales for Australia and New Zealand.

"Peter will be a great asset to Vignette. With almost 30 years experience in the IT&T industry in sales and leadership roles, he will provide leadership and guidance to Vignette's entire sales force in both Australia and New Zealand," said Graham Pullen, vice president and general manager Asia Pacific, Vignette.

Murphy will be based in Vignette's Sydney office.

His resume includes senior sales leadership roles at companies including Sterling Software, Platinum Technologies, Computer Associates, and Lucent Technologies, where he was recently the APAC regional manager for the applications and intelligent networks group based in Singapore.
