Tamlin gets SNIA seat

Craig Tamlin, Quantum's country manager for Australia and New Zealand, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) for Australia and New Zealand.

Tamlin said "I am honoured to be selected to the SNIA Board of Directors where I can help shape the state of health of the local storage industry by making recommendations on the right programs to be run. Our goal is to make SNIA more relevant to end users as well as storage industry professionals, to increase membership and give unbiased information to the market."

The 2007-08 SNIA ANZ board comprises eleven senior executives from leading systems integrators, storage vendors and industry advisors.
