Symantec has appointed Paul Kastner as director and Andrew Yu as chief technologist of its financial services team for Asia Pacific and Japan.

Kastner's 20 years experience in the financial  services and IT industries includes serving as client solutions director for Australia and New Zealand at EMC, a partner at PA Consulting Group, director of financial services at Ernst & Young, CIO at Saudi Cairo Bank, and senior manager at Price Waterhouse. 

Yu has more than 12 years experience in the financial services and IT industries, gained as director of infrastructure services at IT Channel Asia, global head of infrastructure for CLSA, and vice president and manager of the regional UNIX engineering and operation group at Morgan Stanley.
