IBM-owned Internet Security Systems has appointed a senior security consultant. David Kaplan has joined ISS’ national security technical team to assist with pre-sales consulting, security system design and integration. Kaplan brings 12 years of IT industry experience to his role, including 10 years as a security specialist servicing clients all over Australia. Prior to joining ISS, Kaplan held a systems engineer, national security specialist role at Cisco Systems. His qualifications include a Bachelors Degree from the University of Sydney (with Computer Science Honours), CISSP and CCNP.
