Tripoint Corporation, an Australian IT services company, has appointed industry expert Nick Davies as Business Development Manager, Tripoint Managed Services. Formerly running IDC’s benchmarking practice, Davies’ role with Tripoint involves growing the company’s install base of tier one applications and associated managed support services with enterprises nationally. He has more than 20 years IT industry experience in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom and joins Tripoint from IDC Australia and New Zealand, where he established the analyst group’s Benchmarking Services Practice.  Prior to his time with IDC, Davies spent four years as the sales manager of Compass Management Consulting.
