Web content management software provider Ektron has opened its first Australian office and appointed Marius Coomans as regional managing director of Ektron Australia and New Zealand. Coomans is a veteran of the Australian web development industry having run the digital media group, Firmware Group, for nearly 20 years, and then managed ConverterTechnology, a subsidiary of Powerlan Ltd, for three years. Mr Coomans also worked at Wormald Data Systems in the role of Technical Manager.
