Cybertrust appointee to boost managed security services offering

Global information security specialist, Cybertrust, has appointed Mark Shepherd to the newly-created position of client service manager, managed security services (MSS), Asia Pacific.

He will liaise directly with Cybertrust's global MSS customers to help them analyse and manage their security status, working with them to evaluate the status of their security infrastructure's threat, health and service requests. He will also be responsible for continually reviewing the quality of services to ensure that they are aligned with customers' business needs.

He wil report to Cybertrust's client service director, MSS APAC, Alistair McClusky and will be located in Cybertrust's new APAC security operations centre in Canberra.

Shepherd was previously Cybertrust's business development manager, federal government, where he was responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in the government sector. Before joining Cybertrust he held a variety of account manager and sales roles in companies such as AAPT, AAP Information Services and MCI.
