Springboard Research opens office in ANZ

Silicon Valley based IT research group, Springboard Research, has appointed Phil Hassey as its Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand. Based in Sydney, Hassey will report directly to Dane Anderson, Springboard’s CEO & EVP of Research.  In addition to managing Australia and New Zealand, he will also be responsible for driving Springboard’s IT & Business Services research globally.

“Australia and New Zealand are key markets for our clients and expanding our presence here is an important part of Springboard’s Asia Pacific strategy” said Dane Anderson.  “We are confident that our research model can provide significant benefits to our clients in Australia and New Zealand. We are very excited to have Phil leading these efforts in addition to serving as a senior member of our management team.”

Has has more than 11 years professional experience spanning the IT, Commercial Property and Financial Services sectors, with a focus on corporate strategy and market intelligence.  Aside from overall services trends, he additionally has particular experience on Offshore Service Delivery, Utility services, and Business Process Outsourcing.

Prior to Springboard, Phil was a Research Director for IDC managing research for the Services marketplace across the Asia/Pacific region. Before joining IDC, he had a significant amount of experience in corporate strategy, marketing and research at Accenture and Lend Lease.
