Home People People Moves Yip takes on security strategy at CA

CA Technologies has appointed Ian Yip as its senior solution strategist for the northern region of ANZ.

"We have many well-known, large customers deploying our leading-edge security solutions to enable and protect their business in this new world. Ian's experience positions him well to further cultivate and grow these relationships. We are very pleased to welcome him to the team," said Vic Mankotia, vice president, solution sales, CA Technologies Asia Pacific and Japan.

Mr Yip's resume includes a variety of leadership, sales, marketing and consulting roles in leading IT companies including NetIQ (where he was APJ product and business manager) and IBM.

"Whilst the ANZ security market is relatively mature, businesses are still struggling to address the security challenges associated with cloud and mobility, data sovereignty and consumer privacy," said Mr Yip.

"Businesses require good products with a strategic approach. I look forward to working with our customers and partners to help them forge that path."
