Perth-based CingleVue is the first Australian company to join Red Hat's embedded partner program.

CingleVue, a value-added distributor and consulting and professional services provider specialising in the education sector, has become the first Australian member of the Red Hat Embedded Program.

Membership of the program gives to company access to resources to integrate, certify and bundle open source Linux, virtualisation and Java middleware platforms.

Managing director and CEO Greg Tolefe said "CingleVue has recently signed an agreement with one of the Catholic Education Diocese in New South Wales that will see CingleVue's Red Hat-enhanced technologies rolled out across that school system in the coming months.

"The Red Hat technologies will enable us to deliver solutions to market faster and improve customer experience.

"As CingleVue's solutions are Java centric, Red Hat's vertical reach from operating system to virtualisation to Java application servers has redefined how we look at solution provisioning and elasticity."

Max McLaren, regional vice president and general manager, Red Hat Australia and New Zealand, welcomed CingleVue to the program, saying "As the world's leading provider of open source solutions, Red Hat takes a community-powered approach to creating relevant, innovative technologies that liberate resources for growth and prepare customers for the future.

"Collaborations with dynamic organisations like CingleVue play a key role in driving Red Hat's success in today's rapidly changing, collaborative environment."
