But Oki is mounting a new push following its recovery from last year's earthquake in Japan and flooding in Thailand which disrupted production. Part of this effort is the opening of its new Australian headquarters in Macquarie Park, Sydney, which incorporates a product demonstration centre.
"Our new demonstration centre has been designed to help potential customers meet the challenges they face with their printing solutions," said Dennie Kazuo Kawahara, managing director of Oki Data Australia.
"Live demonstrations will help users watch the power of our solutions and see different equipment in operation while our experts explain what is really happening. Additionally, we will use the demonstration centre to help customers evaluate the savings they can realistically expect from a proposed print management solution," he added.
The facility, opened this afternoon by Oki Data president Takao Hiramato, will also be used as a training centre for customers and partners.
