OVCC president, Andrew McFadzen, said: "OVCC members are eager to offer enterprise customers greater reach and more choices for consistently high-quality video communications, and our continual growth demonstrates that the industry values the OVCC blueprint and collaborative market approach."

According to OVCC "members contribute to and implement the OVCC technical and commercial blueprint, using established standards and best practices to accelerate and commercialise business-to-business video communications.

"OVCC members are committed to providing video around the world to enable enterprise users to place and receive video calls beyond corporate firewalls and across standards-based and proprietary video platforms."

Poole also told ExchangeDaily "On the OVCC timetable we are talking about delivering commercial services this year...Everything the group has set as an objective, it has accomplished. The group said that this would be the year that it would take the idea and turn it into something that could be monetised and we are well on track to achieve that. There will be a series of announcement that will detail the who, what where and when of that over the coming months."
