NBN Co has announced fibre rollout plans for additional areas in New South Wales, Queensland, Tasmania and Victoria.
Most of the new action is in the southwest of the nation, with three new areas in both Victoria and Tasmania.
In Tasmania, work is planned to begin in Bellerive in March, and 'Claremont, Hobart' and South Launceston in December. Connections to 27,200 premises in these areas will be built or under way by the end of the year.
Moving north, Footscray should see work start in November, followed by Karingal and Keysborough in December. 25,200 connections will be started by December 31.
The remaining new sites are Corrimal, NSW (November, 8300 connections); and Ascot, Queensland (November, 9900 connections).
Think again. Most businesses only have PART of a DR plan - and this spells business disaster in the event of an IT disaster.
