Adelaide-based broadband ISP, Internode, has opened an office in Melbourne and made two Victoria-based executive appointments as a result of what it says is "robust growth for its tier-1 broadband network in Victoria and the other eastern states."
The Melbourne office is headed by Fabio Conte who has been appointed as corporate account manager. He joins Internode from ISP Networks where he was national account manager with responsibility for both account management and business development for the company's virtual private network and Internet business. Prior to joining ISP Networks he worked at PowerTel as corporate account executive and was previously business development manager at Asia Online.
Eddie Cejvan joins Internode as pre-sales engineer with responsibility for managing seamless engineering integration of Internode solutions within client network requirements. For the past five years he has been a solutions consultant at Hubub and before that was a systems architect at InvestorWeb. He has also worked at Primus Internet as pre-sales consultant.
Internode's national sales manager, Daryl Knight, said the new team would enable the company "to provide increased local support and greater direct access to Internode solutions for organisations along the eastern seaboard requiring both national and international broadband connectivity."
