Linksys lures resellers

IT Industry - Strategy

Cisco subsidiary, Linksys, has announced enhancements to its value added reseller (VAR) program in Australia and New Zealand.
The company says its Linksys Partner Connection Program will offer attractive incentives and support to VARs who wish to sell Linksys small business class products including the Linksys Voice System, an IP-PABX Internet telephone key system for small businesses and home offices.

The program will provide resellers with resources such as special benefits, training and tools to improve their service to customers. Resellers who register and qualify through the Linksys Australia website http://www.linksys.com.au will have access to these resources.

Graeme Reardon, regional director of Linksys Australia and New Zealand said, "The Linksys Partner Connection Program provides services and benefits to resellers who are dedicated to serving SOHO and small business customers. Linksys is ramping up our support for resellers by offering value added features such as training, communications and a range of tools to help them promote our product offerings effectively."

The Linksys Partner Connection Program is separate from Cisco channel programs and will be maintained and operated by the Linksys division.
