A new company has been established to support and market the MoneyWorks accounting software in Australia.
The MoneyWorks accounting packages from New Zealand based Cognito have a new Australian licensee: SGA Software, a company backed by the Cognito founders.
The software continues to be distributed by Simms International.
MoneyWorks is positioned as a powerful, flexible and easier to use alternative to the better known QuickBooks and MYOB programs. It runs on Windows or Mac OS X.
"Anyone who's ever used QuickBooks or MYOB will be familiar with the challenges of pulling meaningful data out of their accounting systems. MoneyWorks is a superior alternative to both systems, providing real-time ledger updates, a friendly, intuitive user interface and a powerful reporting module that makes generating reports and exporting data a breeze," said SGA Software MD Dennis Shepard.
"MoneyWorks meets all the Australian legal requirements for lodging returns, paying taxes and completing GST accounting in a flexible, scalable solution that won't cost you an arm and a leg in annual support or upgrade fees. It's fast, powerful, integrates easily with other systems and has a low cost of ownership, making it the perfect solution for a small and growing business."
