The Australian Telecommunications Users Group (ATUG) is seeking submissions for its annual awards for the effective use of broadband and for excellence in telecommunications.

Applications for both sets of awards close on 5 February. Nominations can be lodged  here.

The broadband awards run alongside ATUG's annual excellence awards, designed to recognise outstanding performance and significant contributions made by both individuals and companies in the communications sector.

The 2010 Awards are the 25th annual series from ATUG and cover nine categories ranging from innovations in communications to best communications solution, communications journalist of the year and carrier of the year. Nominations can be lodged here.

Winners of all the awards will be announced on 11th March 2010 at the ATUG Gala Awards Networking Evening at the Australian Technology Park in Sydney.
