Telstra has revealed the addition of almost one million new mobile services in the six months to December 2011, but Sensis revenues plummeted 24 percent in 12 months.
Service Stream has secured an extension to its current contract from Telstra for installation and maintenance services in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth; and Broadcast Services Australia has re-signed its contract with Telstra to perform a portion of Telstra's installation and maintenance services for the Sydney and Brisbane Regions.
Service Stream's extension is for four years (two years plus two one year extensions at Telstra's option) commencing on the 1st of July 2006 and is currently worth $25 million per year. However Service Stream says revenues have steadily grown over the last 18 months and it anticipates this trend to continue.
Service Stream's new contract is in addition to its recently announced Specialist Services contract with Telstra covering the installation and maintenance of telephone and ADSL products and services into the customer's home and/or premises.
BSA estimates revenue over the two years of its new contract to be between $65 million and $70 million. BSA was also named as one of the successful tenderers in Telstra's Specialised Services contract.
