Cisco offers Christmas dinner via telepresence

IT Industry - Strategy

Many people in Australia have family and friends in distant countries, and Christmas can be a reminder of how far away they are. Cisco's offering Christmas dinners via HD telepresence as prizes in a competition.

Open to adult residents of Australia and New Zealand, a Christmas competition from Cisco provides an opportunity to feel a little closer to family and friends that are overseas.

There are two first prizes of Christmas dinners in a Cisco three-screen TelePresence suite, and ten second prizes of "Christmas catchups" in a one-screen TelePresence suite.

To enter, you'll need to describe in 100 words or less who you would love to have a Christmas catchup with via Cisco TelePresence and why.

If you're interested, don't delay - entries close at midnight AEDT on December 6.

One snag is that travel to the closest Cisco TelePresence facility is not included in the prizes.

Another is that the dinners and catchups are 'dry' events - no alcohol will be allowed on the premises.

The prize pool is rounded out with 20 Flip Mino HD video cameras.

You can enter the competition here.
