At a time when many service providers are voicing their dissatisfaction with Telstra Wholesale, People Telecom has signed a multimillion dollar deal to resell Telstra's telephony and ADSL services.
People Telecom CEO, Ryan O'Hare, said: "People Telecom first became a Telstra Wholesale customer more than five years ago. Our customer experience led to us choosing Telstra Wholesale as our supplier of first choice for the past three years, and now, into the future...We are pleased to see that Telstra Wholesale can deliver great relationships during these times of change and continue to support its valued customers."
However last week O'Hare told ITWire that, because Telstra would not resell the new high speed ADSL2+ services, People Telecom was looking at installing its own DSLAMs. He said an announcement was likely before Christmas.
