Telstra adds one million mobile services, but Sensis plummets

Telstra PR exec and former Nowwearetalking editor joins Huawei

Jeremy Mitchell, long time PR executive in Telstra and until recently editor of its now defunct, controversial, Nowwearetalking wed site has taken on the role of director of media relations for Huawei Australia, New Zealand & South Pacific. 

Mitchell said: "It was a hard decision to leave Telstra but the role at Huawei offers an opportunity to work in a company with phenomenal success globally (like the recent contract win to deliver the Singapore NBN as well as the work already done as part of the team delivering in the UK's NBN equivalent, BT's 21 Century network).

He might also have added Huawei's recent success in Australia as the chosen supplier of mobile WiMAX infrastructure for Unwired's Vividwireless network rollout in Perth.
